Canadian Embassy Showcases West Lorne Plant to French Delegation on Pyrolysis Mission to Canada

On Friday, June 19, a French delegation toured the West Lorne facility during a pyrolysis mission to Ontario, Canada. The visit was part of the delegation’s Ontario itinerary to collect technical information on companies, organizations, and institutions specializing in advancements of pyrolysis technology. Company officials gave a technology & plant overview, tour of facility, and answered technical questions. In addition, the delegation will also be traveling to British Columbia and Quebec for a gasification technology mission.
The delegation was coordinated by Ms. Meera Bawa – Canadian Embassy Regional Office of the Trade Commissioner Service in Vancouver, BC and with Ms. Sandrine Caduc – Trade Commissioner, Innovation, Science & Technology located in Paris, France. The pyrolysis mission included representatives from IAR-Pole, COOPENERGIE® Picardie, Diester Industries, ETIA engineering, Institut Français Pétrole, French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), and Maguin S.A.S.
