The Evolution of Energy

The planet is suffering the effects of many years of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. These emissions have greatly contributed to global warming, mainly by releasing carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) into the atmosphere.

Dynamotive Latinoamericana, with Headquarters in Buenos Aires, is a subsidiary company of Dynamotive Energy Systems Corporation, a leader in the development of environmentally-friendly energy technologies using renewable and sustainable sources. The purpose of Dynamotive Latinoamericana is to provide energy solutions to the whole region.

The key to achieving Dynamotive’s goal of a sustainable energy future is its unique biomass to liquids “fast pyrolysis” technology. Carbon and greenhouse gas neutral, Dynamotive’s fast pyrolysis technology turns dry waste biomass and energy crops into industrial boiler fuel for power and heat generation. In addition to BioOil and BioOil Plus, the process also produces “Agrichar,” a pure carbon char that can be used for soil enhancement and carbon sequestration.

BioOil: Second Generation Biofuel

BioOil is a biofuel produced by converting agricultural and forest cellulosic residue, using Dynamotive Energy Systems Corporation’s patented thermal cracking (Pyrolysis) process. BioOil is considered to be CO2 neutral and it is currently the only second-generation biofuel available in the market at commercial scale.

Biofuel aimed at the industrial sector

While most biofuels available in the market (mainly Bioethanol and Biodiesel) are aimed at the transportation sector, BioOil is being positioned as the third biofuel alternative for industrial use. In Latin America, the industrial sector is responsible for approximately one third of total fuel consumption.

Green Energy

Dynamotive’s technology, biofuels, and energy produced from Biomass meet all environmental and operating standards set by the Provinces of Ontario and British Columbia, Canada -which are among the most stringent in the world-, and have the EcoLogo Certification, which is equivalent to the Kyoto Protocol.

Dynamotive Latinoamericana
